*LADY “X” a.k.a. "LX" (Rap Solo) – When an overwhelming presence walks into a room, there is no doubt that every other person in the room will focus on that overwhelming presence!  Have you witnessed it before?  If not, let me introduce you to “LX”.  When you have the pleasure to meet her in person you will feel the mysterious and yet charming energy of a bonafide star!  You may be mesmerized initially by her style and astonishing beauty, but when you sample her music, you will understand why she has the potential to sell major units.  In 2004, she opened up for Jadakiss (Ruff Ryders/Interscope), Dem Franchize Boyz (Universal), T.I.'s group P$C (Grand Hustle/Atlantic), & Young Jeezy (Def Jam as a Solo Artist/Bad Boy as a member of the group Boyz-N-Da-Hood).  In 2005, she has written and performed the radio (WVEE 103.3FM Atlanta, GA) commercial for the adult entertainment club, Strokers.  On July 14, 2005 she opened up for the Ying-Yang Twinz in Gadsden, AL at Club Studio 231; she opened up for Pretty Ricky at Ft. Valley St. University on Oct. 1, 2005; and performed at the Mid-Atlantic Music Conference in Charlotte, NC on Oct. 8, 2005.  She performed at the 1st Annual Hood Stock B-Girl Fest (All Female Lineup) at The Apache` Cafe in Atlanta, GA (Nov. 5, 2005).  She performed with Yung Joc (Block Ent./Bad Boy), China White, & Rasheeda at The Macon Int'l Speedway (Twiggs County; Macon, GA).  Her song "Don't Stop" has been included on DJ Cloud's (Legion of Doom DJ) Mix CD and "LX" has lead roles in music videos for Mr. Sho'Nuff (Big Ben Ent.), Pastor Troy ("Just to Fight"), Big Storm (The Label Ent.), & Dre` of Das FX ("Trap Boi") respectively.  She is featured in the "Meal Ticket" Section of Street Masters Magazine's 2-Year Anniversary Issue (Volume 1/Issue 11) with David Banner on the Cover.  At the beginning of 2006 "LX" was chosen for the Music Spotlight at http://www.nbaparty.com/artists.html (Allen Iverson)

*Fam Famil - Kelvin Freeman p.k.a. SWOLE and
Damian Gilmore p.k.a. D.K. make up the high energy, suave, and dynamic duo collectively called Fam Famil!!!  SWOLE hails from Windsor, NC and D.K. reps Jersey City, NJ and now they call Atlanta, GA home.  They met through a mutual friend named DJ Thunder in Norfolk, VA and SWOLE and D.K. quickly developed into a team that made ear-catching music.  One of their very first songs, “Dirty South”, actually beat out one of I-20’s songs feat. Ludacris on Slam It or Jam It on Norfolk, VA’s 103 Jamz with EJ Greg.  The song, “Dirty South”, won three days in a row!  Fam Famil believed good things were on the horizon!

As Fam Famil settled in Atlanta, GA, they started hitting the local scene and establishing themselves!  Keep your ears and eyes open for their blazin’ Mix CD and their hot singles “Where The Money At”, "Party" and “Baby Girl” feat. *MAGNEM P.I. (Rapper/Writer/Producer)
Born in Norristown, PA, but raised in Atlanta, GA, Magnem P.I. is an entertainer from the heart.  He realized he had Hip-Hop Talent at the age of fourteen (14) and has not looked back since.  With his stint in Juvenile Detention, he learned valuable lessons that have made their way into his music.  With his life experiences and musical influences such as LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Ludacris, and Missy Elliott, Magnem P.I. has developed a unique style and substance of his own!  The P.I. stands for "Personality Intact" and he believes in being a stand-up guy at all times.  He has opened up for and performed with Lady X; Yung Joc; Rich Boy; E-40; Ying-Yang Twinz; Fam Famil; Lil Jon; & Citty a.k.a. *RED MONEY (Producer/Writer) - This Atlanta, GA native has been on the music scene since 1987 (contributed to Raheem The Dream's "Eliminator") and he has been blessing us with musical gems every since.  He has won a Coca-Cola Atlanta Music Award for best Rap Group in 1991 with KILO.  His stats with Kilo are very impressive!  RED produced Kilo's first three (3) albums entirely by himself and the singles "Cocaine," "Hear What I Hear," and "Tick-Tock" have either been featured in Jet Magazine's Top 20 Singles Chart and/or on Atlanta's V-103's (WVEE) Top Eight at Eight.  After officially leaving Kilo, RED produced two (2) songs on Kilo's most commercially successful album Let's Get This Party Started and then produced four (4) songs on Kilo's Major Label Debut Album Organized Bass which was on Organized Noise Records/Interscope.  RED's Debut Solo Album II Much Red garnered him even more street credibility with his "Loud Music" anthem "6-15's."  Raheem benefited from RED's musical genius again on Raheem's Major Label (Island Records) Debut Album Tight 4 Life.  RED produced the Lead Single "The Most Beautiful Girl" and it proved to be magic as it came out the box charting on BillBoard!  RED has also provided production for Black Dave on his Triad Records/RoadRunner Debut Release Next Stop The Ghetto.  RED is in the studio nurturing his skills, cataloging tracks, developing the next wave of talent that will emerge from the South, and he has his eye set on the R&B arena as well.  In 2006, RED is currently working with Multi-Platinum Producer DJ Toomp and his NZone Ent. & ZoneBoy Productions.  RED is preparing to unleash his soundscape on the music world!

*TONY TATUM (Male R&B Solo) - Tony Tatum
took the biggest step in his musical career by moving to Atlanta, GA from Saginaw, MI.  It is developing into the best move he has ever made!  Tony has been an alternate member of the BIV Ten Recording Group "Subway" and has performed as a background singer for Usher.  He has also been Blessed with opportunities to open up for Eddie and Gerald Levert, Kelly Price, Men At Large, Jamie Foxx, and Glenn Lewis.  Producers that have worked with Tony Tatum thus far include Jerry Flowers (Silk), KB & Spec (Whitney Houston), and Gasner Hughes (Joe).  Most recently, he has had songs that he has Co-Written (Produced & Co-Written by Night & Day Productions) recorded by Omarion (formerly of B2K), Frankie J (the song "#1 Fan" is on Frankie J's current album; 2005), and the Male R&B Group - ATL.  Tony made the initial cut, and made it to the Hollywood Round (2nd) of American Idol in 2002.  Also in 2002, he was the Grand Prize Winner in the Georgia Karaoke Competition.  In 2004, he sang at the Detroit Pistons World Championship Rally in Saginaw, MI.  As of June 2005, Tony has been on tour with Keith Sweat as one of two background singers.  Tony Tatum's goal is to become a legendary performer, and to reach and heal broken hearts across the world through delivering outstanding music and lyrics.




*TAVARES STEPHENS (Spoken Word Entertainer) -

Tavares Stephens is a rising voice in an era of change.  He is an educator, poet, and community servant with his eyes set upon using his amazing gifts and talents to bring healing and harmony to the world.  A graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.S. in English Education, Tavares has been an English instructor in the Georgia public school system since 1998-teaching on both the middle and high school levels. He is the founder of Earthseed, LLC, an educational consulting service specializing in community empowerment through a three-fold process of motivational speaking, performance poetry and mentoring workshops (aimed at showing how mentoring can be used inside and outside of the classroom to enhance student growth and achievement).  He has twice been featured by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution for his service as an educator and mentor to youth in the metro Atlanta area.  He is the 2005-06 Teacher of the Year at Morrow High School in Morrow, Georgia and was a finalist for the 2005-06 Teacher of the Year for Clayton, County Georgia and he is a recipient of Turner Broadcasting’s Teacher Appreciation Award for the 2005-06 school year.

 

Tavares also serves via the cultural arts.  He is the author of Soulfood Café, a book of soulful and inspiring poetry characterized as a gospel of calling for the social, political, and spiritual uplift of humanity. He is the creator of Primal Cause: Words of Life and Lend Me Your Ears, spoken word CDs that further articulate Tavares’ mission of service and uplift.  He was co-host of the Praise Poetry Café, a radio program that aired on Atlanta’s 860 AM and was a member of Poetry Atlanta’s National Poetry Slam team – the team which represented the city of Atlanta at the 2005 National Poetry Slam.  Tavares has, in addition, worked as a freelance editorial writer-writing on issues of education and society- for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, one of the largest and most read periodicals in the southeastern United States.

 

Tavares has committed himself to the work he does as an educator, writer, and speaker because he believes that through words and thoughts lives can be transformed, reborn, and resurrected.  He believes that thoughts and words and the actions they inspire can reshape the world in which we live. They can shape this world into a place where evolution into our highest selves becomes the norm as thoughts, words, and the actions which follow serve as the catalyst of mankind’s evolution into true freedom – the freedom to know our power, to live, dream and achieve far beyond our wildest dreams.
